Extra Curricular Information

Edit:real numbers now

Very excited to be applying with a 170 score from DEC LSAT...retook and improved over 10 points.

1/11- First acceptance of the cycle, THE University of Michigan

1/21- BIG BLACK BOX...In at Vandy

1/23- Call from Dean Schwartz of UCLA, very nice conversation.

2/15- Rejected at Berkeley after FR1...surprised but understand

2/19- Got decision letter through status check from Northwestern, IN!

2/22- UCLA notified me of 14k in grants renewable each year. Makes their total offer $132,000...enticing

2/26- In at UVA, very excited!!

3/12- WL from Penn. Not surprised considering why I didn't submit a Why Penn. Withdrew, not trying to ride out the WL until Mid-May

3/17- Priority Reserve from Duke via email.

3/20- WOW!! 150K From NU! This is going to make things interesting coming down the stretch.

4/3- Woke up to a nice DLS from Stanford. Its been fun thinking about what life would be like on the farm, now back to real life.

4/8- And then there were four...should be hearing back from these schools soon, right?

4/11- WL by NYU...Withdrew. I guess I must have a weak app or submitting late hurt me big time.

4/17- Withdrew from Michigan after finding out the $75k offer was final.

4/25- WL at Harvard...Why am I excited about this?! Might have a fighting chance, maybe?

4/30- Reserved at Columbia

5/1- Withdrawn from Virginia by default of not submitting deposit. Would have wished they offered me more $$$, really wanted to be there. Also W-UCLA

5/2- Deposit in at NU. Plan is to wait on Chicago and ride out Harvard WL. Those are the final 3 options. Reserve at Columbia probably won't happen and if it did, it would be sticker, so yeah.

5/7- WL by Chicago

5/9- Feels weird to have all decisions in. I will be at NU unless I get in off Harvard's wl. The other options will not make sense due to scholarship considerations.

5/31- Changed my mind...Duke here I come

Additional info & updates

Scholarship numbers are 3 year totals

Weak Consider
Harvard (28%)- WAITLIST

Consider
Stanford (56%)- REJECTED
Columbia (48%)- WAITLIST
Chicago (54%)- WAITLIST
NYU (52%)- WAITLIST

Strong Consider
UPenn (66%)- WAITLIST
UVA (68%)- ACCEPTED
Duke (72%)- WAITLIST -> ACCEPTED
Northwestern (73%)- ACCEPTED

Admit
Berkeley (75%)- REJECTED !
Michigan (78%)- ACCEPTED
UCLA (83%)- ACCEPTED
Vanderbilt (77%)- ACCEPTED

And so the fates are seldom wrong, no matter how they twist and wind, It's you and I who make our fates, we open up or close the gates, On the Road Ahead or the Road Behind.

I am the perfect example of why one should apply early. Likely that many of my WL might have been acceptances...

Wow, still no decisions? The schools really do seem to be taking their time this year. Good luck!

This wait is brutal! And I am losing hope on ever receiving a waiver from Chicago, might just spend the cash and submit...
