11/24/09-All the applications are out and now I just sit back and wait to go complete. Probably setting up an interview/visit with Vermont Law.

12/7/09- Interviewed at Pace. Nice place and the interview went well.
12/14/09- Interviewed at Vermont. Great campus and was told that I was admitted. Formal letter to follow later this week.
12/18/09- Got my official email from Vermont Law and my status changed to accepted. Also in at Franklin Pierce via the status checker. It has now changed to admitted to class of 2013. Feels great to know that I am at least into two schools before the Holiday!
12/22/09- Phone call from Western New England. Accepted with a $13,000 scholarship per year. Not my first choice but that much money is going to keep it in the running for a while.
12/30/09- Wait listed at Maine Via the status checker. No information yet from them about when I can expect further information. Well I knew I would not get into every school.
1/29/10- After a month of no news Gonzaga broke the silence with a rejection letter in the mail today. Kinda surprised, kinda not. Back to sitting and waiting for more info.
2/3/10- The hits keep on coming. Waitlist at Quinnipiac via snail mail. Email rejection from Penn State. Decision processed at Denver via status check and hoping the news is good.
2/8/10- Big packet in the mail with an Acceptance letter from Pace. Glad to have gotten another one finally. Says scholarship info will come later...hopefully not too later
2/12/10- Rejected via small envelope from Ole Miss. Not all that surprised. Waitlist at Denver via Email. Pretty excited. Considering my numbers and this cycle I am pretty pleased and hopeful.
2/26/10- Rejected from Uconn in small white envelope. Not shocked, just bummed. Hoped they would at least throw me a waitlist.
3/16/10- Been a while since any news has come. In at WVU on status checker. Interested, but moving right now is seeming to be less and less of a possibility. Right now WNEC and the scholarship are looking to be pretty high.

I'm applying to the Carlisle campus for Penn State. I didn't want to be in University Park because I figured I would be able to focus better in Carlisle. How about you -- which campus did you apply to? Also, I'm curious which school is your first choice.

Hey - just to let you know that you're in good shape if you're eyeing UMaine. We have VERY similar stats and I was at the top of the waitlist (which I would assume you are to looking at the averages for the second year in a row) and heard back from admissions in late April and got in.

Yeah no prob. I was in your position last year waiting seemingly forever. I did not write a LOCI, but I did inquire via email to the Admissions Dean pretty much asking him professionally when I should expect to hear back. This was before my waitlist letter around late February. They set a deposit due date for all those accepted. Based off of how many deposits they receive back they go to their waitlist and start issuing acceptances. I'm not sure when those dates are though. Congratulations on your acceptances! I am also applying to a few of the same schools. My first choice is Vermont. I visited their campus back in November and loved it. Are you interested in environmental law? Good Luck with Maine! What is your first pick?

Did your status checker change from Application complete to under review at VLS? Mine has been complete for months now.
